Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Gori mobile application and related websites (together, the "Service"), operated by Gori ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, creating an account, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who Gori is for

Gori is a consumer calorie and meal logging app for adults. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use the Service. The Service is not intended for children or for clinical, medical, or enterprise patient management.

2. Not medical advice

Gori provides estimated calorie and macro targets, meal logging tools, and progress views for general wellness and fitness goals. Nothing in the Service is medical, dietary, or clinical advice. Calorie floors and plan defaults are consumer safety heuristics, not prescriptions. Talk to a qualified professional before making significant changes to your diet or training, especially if you have a health condition.

3. Your account

You are responsible for your account credentials and for activity under your account. Provide accurate profile information when asked (for example age, height, weight, activity, and goal) so estimates can be calculated. You may update profile details in Settings. Do not share your account or use the Service in a way that breaks the law or harms others.

4. The Service

Subject to these Terms and your subscription status, Gori may let you:

• Create a daily calorie and macro plan sized to a body goal
• Log meals with methods such as photo, voice, text, barcode, macros, or repeat meal
• View history, trends, streaks, and progress toward your goal
• Sync data to the cloud and export data where the product supports it

You may browse parts of the app after login. Unlimited logging and related Plus features require an active Gori Plus subscription (see Billing). Features may change as we improve the product.

5. Billing and Gori Plus

Paid plans (for example Yearly with a free trial when eligible, or Monthly) are sold through the platform store that hosts the app (currently Google Play on Android). Prices, trial length, and renewal terms shown at checkout apply. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. Manage or cancel in the app Settings billing portal or your store account settings. See our Refund Policy for how cancellations and charges work.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the Service
• Upload unlawful, harmful, or infringing content
• Attempt to bypass paywalls, trials, or security controls
• Misrepresent nutrition estimates as medical diagnosis or treatment

7. Intellectual property

Gori, the ape mascot, branding, and the Service software are owned by us or our licensors. You keep ownership of the meal logs and profile content you create. You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display that content only as needed to run the Service for you.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." Nutrition estimates from photo, voice, text, or other methods can be wrong. Progress and pace figures are estimates. We do not guarantee specific body outcomes. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Gori and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amounts you paid us for Gori Plus in the twelve months before the claim.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or end access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Provisions that should survive (including ownership, disclaimers, and liability limits) will survive termination.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. We will post the updated date on this page. Continued use after changes means you accept the revised Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the Service and cancel any subscription.
